It's Finally Here!
Hey guys, I hope all of you are having an awesome week! Well, I have finally sat down and created a blog for our new group. The group is called "Slaves No More." It is a group where men come together to wage war for sexual purity. As men we are called to be spiritual leaders and followers of Christ in our daily lives. This requires a personal relationship with the Saviour, Jesus Christ, and a pure life style. In order to grow and mature as Christians we have to target things in our lives that we struggle with, and something that will always be a battle for every man is sexual purity. Jesus set a standard for us in Matthew 5:28, "Your heart can be corrupted by lust even quicker than your body. Those leering looks you think nobody notices--they also corrupt." That is a tough standard to meet, especially in our society today. But there is strength in numbers and this is a battle not to be fought alone. That is why we have created this group, so no one has to be alone in the fight.

It's about time someone else has joined me in the blog community. Cameron, I've linked here from my site too, so hopefully we can a couple of outsiders being touched by SNM too. Friday night was awesome, looking forward to March 3rd.

God bless you guys,
i didn't think any man on this earth could even desire purity, much less LIVE that way ( guess you can tell my experiences with men have been with the proverbial 'dogs' much to my souls dismay).
This is so refreshing to find men who are at least WILLING to try living purely. It seems like most men can't associate the words sex and sacred in the same sentence. Even if one rare man might want purity, the 'herd mentality' of men would make him an outcast and tempt him to go against being true to himself and his God.
Please keep on encouraging each other, this wicked world needs more leaders like you.
Sexual tension is pent up energy that CAN be released in healthier, more honorable ways.
Controling your responses to sexual temptation will build so much strength in you, that you'll be able to overcome ANY temptation of any kind.
You guys CAN do this, it won't be easy, nothing worthwhile ever is, but you CAN do it!
I applaud you with all the respect and admiration my heart can hold : )
